The RentWise Franchise

We launched the RentWise franchise opportunity because we feel that a network of franchisees would be the most effective way of expanding our mission to ensure everyone has access to affordable, quality appliances.

We envisage franchisees providing a range of appliances to local families and businesses. Most franchisees will operate from a home office, with separate storage for their appliance stock.

Franchisees will also need a company van for pickups, deliveries and minor repairs. We’re all about operating an efficient business and keeping overheads to a minimum.

Who we're looking for

What we need from a prospective franchisee is:

  • Someone who wants to build a business in the appliance rental sector.
  • Someone who can communicate well with customers from all different backgrounds.
  • Can perform tasks like appliance delivery, setup and minor repairs and can operate a business on a day-to-day basis following our successful formula.
  • Is hard working and puts the needs of their customers above everything else, and works well under pressure.
  • Someone who has an ethical honest approach to their dealings with customers.

And finally we're looking for someone who is keen to get involved in a fast-growing franchise brand.

Your role as a franchisee

As a franchisee, your day-to-day roles will include:

  • Acting as the day-to-day business manager for the RentWise franchise.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and providing appropriate information.
  • Building up your stock and range of appliances (often at discounted prices directly from our nominated suppliers).
  • Delivery and installation of appliances.
  • Pickup of appliances once rental periods have ended.
  • Maintaining customer payments.
  • Conducting minor repairs to appliances, or employing someone to complete these tasks.
  • Ensuring the RentWise service is delivered to the highest possible standards.
  • Recruiting and managing staff (as and when appropriate).
  • Growing the business within your franchise territory.
  • Ensuring the business performs well.
  • Following the operating systems that we’ve set out in the RentWise operating manual.
